CVG Foundation is pleased to present “Arena”, a solo exhibition by California-based artist Jansson Stegner stating from January 18th, 2025 till March 18th, 2025. Marking his first solo show in Asia, the exhibition will feature a selection of new and iconic portraits created over the past year and beyond. ✨
Jansson Stegner (b. 1973, USA) has held solo exhibitions at Nino Mier Gallery, Los Angeles, CA (2018); Sorry We’re Closed, Brussels, Belgium (2008); and Mike Weiss Gallery, New York, NY (2005), among others. His work has been featured in group exhibitions at Kohn Gallery, Los Angeles, CA (2018); Jonathan LeVine Gallery, New York, NY (2016); Saatchi Gallery, London (2013); and Fredericks and Freiser Gallery, New York, NY (2014), among others. Stegner holds an MFA from The University at Albany, NY (2001), and a BFA from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI (1995). He has received notable honors, including the New York Foundation for the Arts Painting Fellowship (2015) and the Deutsche Bank NYFA Fellowship (2015). Stegner’s work has been featured in publications such as Whitehot Magazine, Candy, and The New Yorker. He lives and works in New York.
